MET Technician

As a skilled MET Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to the highest standards using the latest equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosing faults with mechanical and electrical systems (airbags, sensors, wiring, suspension, etc.)
Stripping and refitting vehicle components such as seats, dashboards, airbags, door panels, wiring looms, steering, and suspension parts
Working on safety-critical systems (braking, steering, ADAS sensors)
Supporting panel and paint technicians by preparing the car for their stage of work and then reassembling after repairs
Following manufacturer repair methods and safety procedures
Using diagnostic equipment to reset or recalibrate systems after repairs (e.g., ADAS, warning lights)
Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of a recognised automotive repair program or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a bodyshop environment and with knowledge of the latest repair techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
