Exactly what I have experienced over the years
Booked car in for service and requested a test drive of another vehicle in same day. Booked approx 1 month before service day. On arrival told all in meeting. No phone call prior.. Not impressed.
I was told it would take 2 hrs and took 3 hrs which was frustrating when waiting and I nearly missed a meeting consequently. It was a first service so there were no issues so it should have taken the time stated.

As usual, speaking with reception staff and dealing with the service advisor is always a pleasant experience. However, I still have the same problem with the car as what it went in with, creaking from the rear of the car and a rattling boot lid.
The man who dealt with me when I brought the car in was brusque and not at all reassuring. The receptionist wasn't particular welcoming.I also had new tyres fitted and they were not inflated to the correct pressure so I had to fill them myself
Fault dealt with well (light bulb issue) however I was in BMW for approx 2 hours and was asked if I wanted my car washing. Which I appreciated, however, I waited 30 minutes for this to happen and then I had to wash it again as it was still dirty.
I found Sandal BMW Wakefield very welcoming and the tea and coffee area is great to wait for your car and to also have a look round at the new models.
Work was done exactly on time and contact made when work had been completed.

I was kept informed, by Matt Armitage,at every stage of the work being carried out. This meant I was able to make reasoned decisions at early stages in the work being undertaken or to be undertaken.

The service to the car was fine. I was supprised with the service reception member of staff. He told me it was a routine service but did not know the price then left me for at least 10 mins whilst he found a price. he dismissed the 'value' service.

there was a mark on back bumper yet I wasn't believed the car was washed v v poorly . it needed new brake fluid as a recall and yet had to pay for it ? . I also have a audi and the service is vastly better.

Hi my 65plate 4 series carbon fibre spoiler come loose on the motor way and could have come off and killed someone . - they kept the car 24 hours and didnt get me a courtesy car for over 6 hours they didn't even clean it for my return -
